Quail Haven Village Senior Living Community Couple Celebrate Their 72nd Wedding Anniversary

Their marriage is nine times the length of the national average which is eight years. Sandra and Donald Beebe, residents of Quail Haven Village senior living community in Pinehurst, North Carolina, celebrated their 72nd anniversary early this month.

Sandra was a junior, and Don was a sophomore in high school when they first met; their love and devotion are stronger than ever. The couple had two children, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild with another on the way.

When asked for their secret to a long and happy marriage, Sandra said, “It’s best to be humble;” Don added, “Listen to your wife.”

Residents and staff of the senior living community celebrated the inspirational couple‘s milestone event on August 4th.
